Our Campus

The Moultrie Montessori campus consists of four lots. There is one house for each age group: elementary (6-12 years), primary (3-6 years), and toddler (1 ½- 3 years). The toddler group shares a house with the office. The joined back yards of the houses provide a lovely playground where there is a huge and fabulous grandfather live oak tree.

Programs & Faculty

In Montessori, the children are grouped accordingly in classes that cover a three-four year age span. This is similar to family and social life.

Testimonials

What Parents are Saying

After a not great experience at another Montessori School, we learned what a real Montessori community was like at Moultrie Montessori. Our children have absolutely thrived here. They look forward to going to school and are kind caring motivated individuals. I am so proud and thankful for all that they have become here. I could not recommend more highly.

Jena Baker-Dennis

What an amazing experience Moultrie Montessori has been for our family. Montessori has made such an amazing impact on our lives and we feel so grateful to have found a school where the teachers are extremely passionate and caring. My daughter has thrived in the one year she has been there and we look forward to seeing her growth as an individual in the years to come. We love Moultrie!

Laura Mae Louden

My son has been attending Moultrie Montessori School for 4 years. I knew I wanted Montessori education for him. The owner Jeannie, who is also a primary teacher, is so steeped in the teachings, strategies, and rhythms of Montessori that we call her “the child whisperer.” She uses gentle, clear ways with the children and they respond beautifully. We have found Moultrie Montessori to be a fantastic place for our son to learn and grow. The most inspiring part of this process has been watching our son grow and still remain in love with learning. He gets to explore and make choices and that allow him to express himself versus following a prescribed curriculum on a set schedule.”

Monica Parisi

“Whoever touches the life of the child touches the most sensitive point of a whole which has roots in the most distant past and climbs toward the infinite future.”

– Dr. Maria Montessori

We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.”

– Dr. Maria Montessori

“Let us leave the life free to develop within the limits of the good, and let us observe this inner life developing. This is the whole of our mission.

– Dr. Maria Montessori
